Benjamin C. Schramm, Esq.

Benjamin C. Schramm is a lawyer in Utah who practices in real estate transactional law with an emphasis in lender representation, and in the area of complex civil litigation with an emphasis on securities and civil fraud, contract and real-estate related claims.  Prior to his association with Shumway Van & Hansen, Chtd., Mr. Schramm was employed as a technical consultant by AdvantEdge Law Group where he excelled at drafting various legal and technical documents.  He has experience with patents which he gained while employed at Rader, Fishman & Grauer, PLLC as a patent clerk, where he assisted in various stages of patent prosecution, including patent application drafting, patent drawing preparation, prior art searches, and office action responses.

 

Mr. Schramm received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University in 2006.  He then attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, graduating in 2009.  While there, he served in various capacities within the Student Bar Association and other student organizations.  Born and raised in Texas, Mr. Schramm now resides in Lehi, UT with his wife Meredith and their two daughters.  Mr. Schramm is admitted to practice before the Utah State Bar and the US District Courts for the District of Utah.
