Garrett R. Chase
Garrett R. Chase is an attorney in our Las Vegas office. Mr. Chase’s practice consists primarily on civil and commercial litigation. Mr. Chase did his undergraduate studies in Seattle, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. After working in the software industry both in Washington state, and Las Vegas, Mr. Chase attended the William Boyd School of Law, UNLV. While at Boyd, Mr. Chase received a full tuition scholarship, numerous awards for written and oral advocacy as a member of the school’s traveling moot court team, a CALI award for excellence for Opening Statement and Closing Arguments, and also participated in an internship at the Clark County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining Shumway Van, Mr. Chase specialized in Nevada real estate law and appellate practice. Mr. Chase is licensed to practice in Nevada state and federal courts. When not in court, or at his Las Vegas office, Mr. Chase enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, exploring the outdoors, reading, watching old films, and music.
