Las Vegas Lawyers Warn About Thieves Targeting Specific Car Models: A Lawyer in Las Vegas Might be A

In just one week during July, Metro police responded to 34 car thefts in the southwest part of Las Vegas. It seems that criminals are targeting certain models of cars that are easy to quickly break into. Las Vegas lawyers warn residents to take extra caution beyond just locking their vehicles, and if something happens then call your attorney as soon as possible.

Most of the stolen cars are 90s models of Honda and Nissan. Metro police say these cars are easy to take and the parts are desirable to sell. The criminals often break the ignition lock, rubbers on the window, or the window itself. Repairs can be costly for even just minor vandalism. If your vehicle has been stolen or damaged, a lawyer in Las Vegas may be able help you.

Metro police advise people to turn off their cars and not leave them unoccupied and running to cool down. Las Vegas lawyers say that it is also a good idea to never leave valuables inside the vehicles and to park in well-lit areas.

Even with the recent targeted stolen vehicles, auto thefts are down in Las Vegas. Part of this decline is because suspects have to pay $20,000 in bail instead of previously lower amounts.
