Matthew is an attorney in our law firm’s San Antonio office. Matt focuses his legal practice on family law, probate and general civil litigation. Prior to Shumway Van Matt worked for a law firm that focused extensively on family and probate law. Matt obtained his J.D. From St. Mary’s University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Southern Methodist University. During his personal time he enjoys Jogging (5ks), playing sports (kickball, softball, etc.) in San Antonio Sports and Social Club, spending time with his rescue dog, gardening, bar-b-queing (briskets, ribs, etc.), and enjoying culture and food of San Antonio.
