A 21-year-old male was driving a 2006 Nissan 350Z when it crashed into a median and hit a palm tree causing it to rollover on its roof, killing two people and critically injuring one. After the collision, the driver and the front seat passenger, a 19-year-old male, were pronounced dead at the scene. The 22-year-old female passenger in the back seat was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The crash took place on Centennial Center Boulevard from Grand Montecito Parkway to Oso Blanca Road.
It is believed the Nissan was racing a black sports car when it lost control causing it to hit the median and palm tree.
